Trew Surveying has been crowned the ‘best self employed/freelancer in the UK’.
On Thursday 16th May, Neil Trewick, director of Trew Surveying, was named the ‘best self employed/freelancer in the UK’ at a Gala Awards ceremony at the Winter Gardens Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. It was hosted by Strictly Come Dancing’s Tess Daly.
Neil had already won the North East Award for Best Self Employed/Freelancer in March 2024. Top scoop the UK’s award was another “feather in the cap for” the business’. Alongside this success the business has continued to grow leading to an impressive business turnover in less than two years.
This year was the FSB’s 50th anniversary, and competition across the 12 categories was tough with 12 regional winners all competing for the ultimate prize.
Neil said:
“I don’t think the enormity of this achievement has really sunk in or fully registered just yet but I guess it is vindication for all the hard work and risks I have taken over the last couple of years. It is a real feather in the cap for my young business and hopefully just the beginning of bigger things to come.
